Building Inclusion-Oriented Programs for Students with Intellectual and other Developmental Disabilities
Date: March 11 Time: 12 (PT)/3 (ET)
In this session, Dr. Pennington (who joined us for our Fall Meeting 2024 in NYC) will describe and answer questions regarding his work focused on leadership that promotes a model and tools for supporting educators of students with complex needs to develop and maintain high quality education programs directed at meaningful inclusive outcomes. He will specifically refer to his work connected with the ALCOT (Autism and Low Incidence Classroom Observation Tool), a researched-based protocol to identify essential inclusion-oriented teaching strategies and standards for students with significant disabilities. Review this CollabPD and come prepared to ask him questions that are relevant to your work and context.
